First we shall start with what my dad prepared for dinner
- Smoked ribs
- Wild Turkey Shiner Bock barbecue sauce
- Sweet and red potato salad
- Hand squeezed lemonade
- Home made vanilla ice cream (I actually made this)
- Green Beans
- Shiner Bock beer bread
After we let our food settle, it was time to start our mile and a half hike to see fireworks. Where we go, there is live music before the show and the fireworks are set off above a pond. the reflection looks really cool. Usually we sit right at the pond, but this year we were a little farther back....guess we didn't get there soon enough.
I am working on saving a video of the fireworks (I had to go in and do a little editing in movie maker). Its nothing too fancy, I shot it with my little point and shoot Nikon, maybe next year I will have a camera that does HD video. But yeah, the video is 22 minutes long, and when it is done saving I will post it.
After fireworks, we had our ice cream, and played some uno. I think our last game went on for like 45 minutes, that is the longest game I can remember playing, we didn't get done until like 12:30ish. But it was fun.
Well that is all I can think of for right now, I will post that video when its done.

where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me."
